Development tools: who needs them?

For security reasons development tools like pnt/unit will no longer be shipped with future versions of phpPeanuts. I am considering to ship pnt/unit seperately. An alpha version of the Hypercode Browsers may also be made available. But are enough people  interested in using these tools? Or will shipping them be a waist of time? If you are interested in using these tools in your own development environment, please react on this topic and explain why you think it/they should be made available.
